Rubik’s Cube at OU

In case you missed it, the OU Daily had a front page article about the OU Rubik’s Cube Club.  They meet

every Thursday at 7 pm in the Oklahoma Memorial Union’s Will Rogers Room.

You should stop by and check out the club!  All are welcome and you’ll probably see some familiar faces from Math Club.

As we reported here and here, there is a lot of interesting math behind the scenes with the Rubik’s Cube.  For example, it was very recent that it was finally proven that no matter what (legal!) configuration the cube starts in, it only takes 20 moves to solve it!

No shortage of cubes!
