As you may recall from last year, at the annual AR-OK meeting of the Mathematical Association of America they have a series of individual and team competitions for undergrads. Last year the OU competitors did very well (better than the OU football team, anyway :-)), and students are organizing a return visit.
This year the meeting is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 25 – 27 on the campus of the John Brown University, in Siloam Springs, AR:
The undergraduate student competitions begin on the evening of Thursday, March 25. Carpooling and hotel arrangements can be made for anyone interested in going. If you’re interested, or would like to learn more, then contact Dr. Kornelson (her email is on her OU Math Department webpage) ASAP and she can put you in contact with the students who are planning to go.
It’s guaranteed to be fun and a great way to win fame, glory, and fabulous prizes!
