The Famous Dr. Spallone!

As you know, last night Dr. Spallone talked to the Math Club about juggling and some of the mathematics behind it.  Like, how do you know if a new juggling pattern is even jugglable?

Of course, wherever Dr. Spallone goes, it’s a media event!  In this case, the Math Club is a story in today’s OU Daily.

We’ll have to see if Dr. Spallone lists it on his webpage as a publication :-) .

Jugglology

The first Math Club meeting of the year is

Wednesday, September 1st at 5 pm in PHSC 1105!

First, a talk by our own Steven Spallone:

Title:  Jugglology

Abstract:  Serious jugglers use mathematics to produce exciting new juggling patterns.  I’ll show you how this works, and give you some tips for working out a few yourself!  There will be physical audience participation.

Dr. Spallone is advisor to OUIJA, a member of PFC, and the world leading JYoga guru:

Next, knives!

We’ll also be having an organizational meeting after Dr. Spallone’s talk where we make plans for this year’s events.  And, as always, Free Pizza!
